Howdy! Welcome to my website.

My name is Agatha Mitchem. I'm a 17-year-old, 12th grader in Charlotte, NC. This website is designed to give you an idea of who I am in the hopes that I might be a good match for your college's soccer program.

I've been involved with club soccer for 9 years and this Fall will play on Charlotte Soccer Academy's U18 Elite team. I also play varsity for my high school team, Myers Park--one of the top teams in the United States.

So what can I say to help you understand who I am? Well, I'm a soccer player (obviously) but soccer is a small part of me as a person.

I'm active in my community and even spent a week in Charleston, SC last summer building a Habitat for Humanity home with my church. This summer I went to Honduras for a week to help build infrastructure and work with children in a remote village. What an amazing experience that was.

I love to write. I love the movies. I attend community college and high school. I work as a lifeguard and also give swim lessons to kids. I love the beach. I love dogs. And I love taking trips with my family. Last summer we went to St. Croix!

I like science, but am still considering my course of study for college. It's such a big world out there. Such an adventure to think about.

Here is my 2018 highlight reel

This is from my 11th grade season at Myers Park High School in Charlotte, NC. We were 21-1-1 and got to the NC State Finals, but lost 1-0 (on an inadvertent goal.) It was heartbreaking, but everything happens for a reason. We return our entire offense for the 2019 season, and have our sights set on a ring. Now that would be a great way to go out.

My 2017 highlight reel

This is from my 10th grade season at Myers Park High School in Charlotte, NC. We got to the state semi-finals, and ended up ranked one of the top 70 teams in the United States! I played mostly midfield in 2017.

My club team went undefeated last season. Here's a goal from a recent game (my dad likes to take videos.)

A little more.

If it's not clear already, I really love soccer. I've been playing for as long as I remember. I started out on the defensive side of the ball, but moved to forward in middle school and lead my conference in scoring. I currently play forward for both my club team and high school. The thing I love the most about soccer is the bonds I've made with so many friends.

I'm also very excited about the next step in my life's adventure--college. Please send me an email at the link below so we can talk. Thank you!

Oh, and as I mention above, my dad really likes taking video. He even recorded my first ever goal. That's me, #3!

Here are some photos from my junior season (spring '18) at Myers Park High School in Charlotte, NC. We got to the state championship game and were ranked as high as #8 in the United States.
